Members of GVHP are eligible to participate in the prescription benefit if their employer has purchased a prescription drug rider. Members who do not have the prescription benefit may also use the services of our two full-service GVHP pharmacies located at Beckwith Health Services and Wyoming Health Center. For those without the prescription benefit, you may wish to check our price before having your prescription filled at a local pharmacy.

• Filled prescriptions may be sent to any of the Health Centers to be picked-up.

• Drug interaction screening with every prescription filled.
• Discounted prices on over-the-counter medications.
• Refill requests for expired prescriptions are handled by pharmacy staff with your GVHP provider.

Your prescription is covered when ordered by a GVHP practitioner or a specialist approved by your Health Center practitioner for the treatment of an injury or illness. Some prescription drugs, as defined in the section on Exclusions, are not covered. Insulin syringes are covered at no additional co-pay when purchased with an insulin prescription (only at GVHP Pharmacies). GVHP will pay the cost of the prescription drug after the member pays the applicable co-payment amount. This amount is stated in your Prescription Benefit Rider and appears on your membership card.

Grand Valley Health Plan offers pharmacy services at all seven of our health center locations. Grand Valley Health Plan also operates two full service pharmacies out of the Beckwith and Wyoming Health Center locations.
